Linking the Countryside and the City

Deli-WorldOpening later this year in Southampton, Deli-World aims to bring the produce of Hampshire farmers and those wider afield direct to their city restaurant. Customers will be able to know from which farm the ingredients comes from! All animals will have been humanely reared and vegetables will be sourced from organic farms or those operating a policy of minimal pesticide use.

Meals will be cooked on some very impressive BBQ’s and the bread will be prepared by traditional methods to their own recipes and will be baked twice a day in a brick built wood
burning oven - a major feature of the ground floor entrance, bar and shop.

They will be producing and selling thier own special brand of ‘‘Growlers’ sausages and traditional pies from the the UK and the Commonwealth. But the restaurant menu will encompass the innovative and sophisticated as well as the traditional style of recipes.

Visitors will be able to look up the dish of the day on the restaurant website, order on line or even send food gifts to any location in the World!

Apart from serving clients in the restaurant the chefs will produce all the products for the delicatessens shop and will even venture out to prepare BBQ parties or dinners in any location.

Current Progress

The back wall of the 4 story historic building has now been completely removed and rebuilt.

Coming Soon

Two glass atriums will be main features of the restaurant, providing natural light and a feeling of the alfresco lifestyle.

The building is being strengthened for the construction of a domed wood burning bread oven, brick built and weighing over 2.5 tonnes (without the bread!)
